About Our Matches

Typically, a regular match (Tier 1) will start at 9:00 in the morning and end around 4:00 in the afternoon, and will feature about 8 stages. Bring your lunch and lots of water!

Classifiers (https://www.idpa.com/idpa-match-rules/), such as the “5×5” may also be included as a “match within a match” replacing one stage. Round count is generally between 100-130 rounds; however, most shooters acknowledge that they may miss once or twice and generally bring around 200-300 rounds of ammunition just in case!

If you’re not up next, the shooter that just did a run, a Safety Officer or Scorekeeping Safety Officer then you are expected to tape targets, pick brass, etc. Basically – everybody helps at a match!
